For café owners

Being listed in Libut Café is free. Here’s how cafés get in, what gets checked when Libut Café visits, and how to keep yours right.

How a café gets listed

Libut Café starts from what cafés post themselves, usually on Facebook and Instagram. Every café that’s open is Listed with whatever has been found so far, so some start with gaps: no photos yet, or hours still to find. Hours only ever come from the café’s own pages.

Until a visit, a café’s pictures come from its own posts; if it has none that work, from customers’ public posts or, for a chain, a brand image or its logo. Every one is credited on the café’s page. Libut Café never imports Google ratings, reviews, photos or hours (Google Maps is used for the pin’s position only), and never copies prices from delivery apps.

Claim your café

  1. In the app, open your café and tap Own this café? Claim it at the bottom of its page, or go to About → Own a café?
  2. Leave your name, your role, and a way to reach you: an email, a phone number, an @handle, or a link to the café’s Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
  3. We’ll get in touch, for example through the café’s own page, to confirm it’s really yours.

No app yet? Email libutcafe@raiyanasaral.com with your café’s name and branch, and a way to check it’s yours.

Free for every café. Owner Pro, with extra tools, is coming later; paying never changes your place in the list.

Hours, menus and contacts

Once your claim is confirmed, Manage this café appears on your café’s page in the app. Hours, closures, Wi-Fi and amenities you change there show straight away. Menus, photos, events and new contact details can wait until we’ve checked them. For the café’s name or location, tell us in the app (Something wrong? Tell us on your café’s page) or by email; we check those first.

In Manage you can also add offers for your customers, and see how many people checked in at your café and how many offers were used, never who.

Your prices, your call. Change a price or mark something sold out from Manage, and it shows on your page at once, marked “Updated by the owner”.

Everything you send gets a number. New menus, photos and events get a receipt with a number, and you’re told at each step: when we’ve seen it, when it’s accepted, and when it’s live, usually within a day.

  • Hours show “As of” the date they were checked, and “Unconfirmed” once they’re six months old. A quick message when they change keeps your café looking current.
  • Menus come from your own posted menu, dated by your post, with a link to the original photo. Post or send a new menu when prices change.
  • Contact buttons (Messenger or Facebook, Instagram, text and call) show what your café has made public. Confirm them with us and the page says “Contact details confirmed by the owner”, with the month.

Here’s how that looks on a café’s page in the app:

The top of Barnyard Country Coffee’s page: a latte on a tray of coffee beans, “Downtown · Verified”, “Open until 10 PM”, “Verified by Libut Café · Oct 2026”, a Kept up to date badge, and a Get directions button with share and save beside it.
Photos, area, the Listed or Verified seal, and whether it’s open now.
Further down TAZA Coffee Company’s page at SM City Zamboanga: comfort, food and payment details, a “See the menu” card dated “Prices as of 20 Oct 2026”, and the week’s hours with today in bold.
What’s there, the dated menu, and hours with the date they were checked.
The bottom of Kaf Coffee’s page: its address on Evangelista Street, Sta. Catalina, Messenger and Instagram contact buttons, and its freedom wall, with no notes yet.
Address, contact buttons and the café’s wall.

What gets checked on a visit

Libut Café is visiting every café in person. You don’t need to prepare anything, and you can’t pay for a visit. After it, your café shows a Verified seal with the month of the visit, and it’s due another look six months later. A visit records:

  • Working thereWi-Fi and any time limit, outlets, how loud it is, table space, and whether staying to work is fine.
  • The spaceOutdoor seating, a private room and how many it fits, parking, and pets.
  • Price levelFrom the price of a typical espresso drink: under ₱120, ₱120 to 180, or over ₱180.
  • PhotosLibut Café’s own, which replace the ones taken from posts.
  • The menuPhotographed and dated, which is also how “No pork on the menu” gets checked.
  • A short take and a ratingLibut Café’s own opinion of the coffee, food, space and value.

Pop-ups and events

No fixed store? Pop-up brands are listed too, found through where they’ll be next. Events show on Discover under “Happening soon” and on your page under “Coming up”, with dates, hours, venue, booth and directions. Send us a link to your post about the event.

Food labels

Libut Café doesn’t certify halal. Your café’s page shows one of these only when it’s recorded:

  • “No pork on the menu”: you tell us so, or your full menu has none.
  • “Muslim-owned”: only when you tell us so yourself.
  • “Has pork on the menu”: your menu includes pork.
  • “Halal-certified by” and the certifier’s name: only when you’ve shown us a certificate.

If any of this has changed, tell us; it’s checked before it shows.

Photos

Photos taken from your posts, or from customers’ public posts about your café, stay credited to whoever posted them. If you’d like any taken down or swapped, email us and we’ll remove them within days.

Your café’s wall

Every café page has a freedom wall: short notes from people who are at the café. Notes that break the wall rules are removed. As a confirmed owner, you can ask us to hide a note on your wall. We’ll usually do it; if we think a fair note should stay, we may keep it up.

Being listed is free. Our rankings aren’t for sale. Paid spots are always labelled Sponsored, and money never changes our ratings, the Verified seal, Trending, or the order the other cafés earned.

Getting the app

Libut Café is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android. No app? You can still claim your café and send changes by email.
